From Monday 5 to Thursday 8 October 2026, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning holds Urban October, its home, building and conference exhibition, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat. This sixth edition marks World Habitat Day 2026, hosted by Oman with UN-Habitat under the theme "Adequate Housing for All", and UN-Habitat's Executive Director Anacláudia Rossbach is due to take part. Leaders, experts, developers and investors meet to talk about the future of cities and to see Oman's projects.
