Kuwait property sales reach KD 1.64 billion from March to September 2026: where the money went
Ministry of Justice figures show 2,541 deals worth about KD 1.64 billion between March and early September. Private homes made up 72% of the deals, but investment buildings, commercial property and the coastal strip carried more than half of the value.

The numbers
According to Ministry of Justice real estate data reported by Al Rai on 12 September 2026, Kuwait recorded 2,541 property deals worth about KD 1.64 billion from March to September 2026. Private housing led with 1,834 deals worth KD 727.3 million, about 72% of all deals and 44% of the value. Investment property followed with 617 deals worth KD 558.22 million, then commercial property with 67 deals worth KD 256.05 million.
The smaller sectors
Industrial property recorded 10 deals worth KD 39.31 million. The coastal strip recorded 11 deals worth KD 34.25 million. Agricultural property recorded 2 deals worth KD 29.16 million.
Average deal size (our calculation)
Dividing each official total by its number of deals: private housing about KD 397,000 per deal, investment about KD 905,000, commercial about KD 3.8 million, and coastal strip about KD 3.1 million. These are simple averages; a single large deal can move them.
